Sports Unit
When students are physically fit, they will achieve more academically. Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the students and develops their team spirit. It helps students to develop mental and physical toughness.
Our College puts maximum focus on sports activities and encourages students to participate and excel in a variety of games and sports that are organized regularly in our college. The College provides facilities for Athletics, kabaddi, Cricket, Football etc. Our students have participated in State level, National and Inter University level tournaments and made the college proud .The College conducts extra-murals where teams from different colleges/institutions are invited to participate.
The Students’ Union with the loving guidance of a committee of teachers, provides effective leadership in various activities geared to bringing out the best in the students by organizing these sports.
They also actively organize a Student’s vs Teacher’s friendly football match this year for showing the love and relationship between teachers and students.

The following students received prizes in different events. They had increased the fame of our college in the field of sports:
- Subhrakanti Hazra has secured 1st place in the long jump event in District level competition and he has also secured 1st place in both 100 m and 200 m event in District level in 2019.
- Our Men’s Kabaddi team has secured 1st position in Vidyasagar University Inter college Kabaddi Championship in 2017 .
- Subhrakanti Hazra has secured 2nd position in both long jump and 100 meter event in Vidyasagar University level in 2019.

Gymnasium
A gymnasium with modern fitness equipment has been developed at the ground floor of Activity Building. It comprises of such fitness tools as motorized and manual treadmills, abdominal exerciser, abdominal machine, twister exerciser, AB Crunch machine, Health care equipment, fitness bike, cross trainer, leg press machine, upright bike, Health scale, bicep curl, etc. teachers as well as the students of the college are allowed to avail the facilities of the gym.
The teachers of the Physical Education Department act as the trainer/s of the gym.

Campus Infrastructure
Each department maintains its own stock register of departmental books, journals and publications. The record of total number of books, journals, publications, etc. of the entire institution is maintained by the central library. Planning and introducing more teaching aids to improve the teaching learning process among the student. It supports the organization more seminar and workshop to spread awareness. Almost all Science departments, as well as few departments of Social Sciences maintain their own log book to record the user rate of departmental computers. All installed software packages are monitored on a regular basis for updating to newer versions from time to time to meet the emerging needs of the faculties and students. All the computers of the respective departments are thoroughly monitored on regular basis for any kind of needful repairing and associated service. Science departments, particularly Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, and Botany maintain stock register for use and purchase of different chemicals, salts, equipment to facilitate the practical work carried out in laboratories. Departments like Geography, Zoology and Botany, maintain stock of specimens, charts, models, equipment, museum specimen etc. for demonstration in the class and field work. All science departments keep record of the lab-based instruments in their respective departmental log books. Purchase and use of different equipment and materials used for various sports activities are maintained in the stock registers and log books respectively.
