Grievance Redressal

Moyna College provides mechanism to the students for redressal of their grievances related toacademic and non-academic matters.
- The objective of the Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell is to develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
- The function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student, judge its merit and take necessary action. Anyone with a genuine grievance may approach the members of the cell in person including the convener. In case any student is unwilling to appear in person, grievances may be submitted in writing in the complaint boxes fixed to the walls of the college building at different points. Grievances may also be submitted through e-mail to the convener of the Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell at

RTI Cell
Moyna College has constituted the RTI Cell as per Government norm & regulations. The basic object of the Right to Information Act is to empower the citizens, promote transparency and accountability in the working of the Government, contain corruption, and make our democracy work for the people in real sense.
There is a public information officer (PIO) to run the cell. Interested persons can have access to any information regarding the college permissible under the RTI act -2005 by applying in the prescribed proforma by depositing the requisite fee in the shape of Indian postal order (IPO).The cell has compiled with various quarries under the RTI Act coming from time to time.

SC/St Cell
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward under the provision of article 341 and 342 of the constitution of India. The cell has been established to support and to bring students from such communities in the main stream.
The objectives of the Cell are to counsel and guide SC/ ST students and help them to manage academic and personal issues of college life effectively and to ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India.

Anti-ragging Squad

Ragging is a form of abuse on a fresher or any other student to any institution. To check the menace of ragging our college has constituted Anti-Ragging Squad.
The main objectives of the Squad are as follows:- To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging.
- To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence;
- To inspect places of potential ragging and make surprise raids on hostels and other hot spots.
- To investigate incident of ragging and make recommendation to Anti-ragging Committee.
